Honoring Fr. Greg Boyle, S.J. and Yolanda Gallo
Dolores Mission Church responds to the spiritual, educational, physical, and emotional needs of our community. By responding to these needs, particularly through the creation of Christian base communities and grassroots organizations, Dolores Mission partners with outside agencies to allow Christ’s healing and transformation and to raise consciousness about larger issues of justice and peace.
Dolores Mission School has grades TK-8th and serves more than 250 children from nearly 150 families. Our student population is 99.5% Latino, 87% qualify for a free or reduced breakfast and lunch program and 100% receive financial aid to pay for their tuition. Our reality is that 54% of our families earn less than $25K a year and 73% earn $35K or less.
We hope you will support and join us on this very special night. La Fiesta de Comunidad is an event that celebrates the culture and community that exists at Dolores Mission. You will walk away feeling blessed and grateful to be a part of our family.

Angeles National Golf Club, Sunland, CA
For the 21st consecutive year, Jesuit Charities Golf Tournament helped raise funds to support the ongoing work in some of the hardest areas in Los Angeles, including Dolores Mission in Boyle Heights and Blessed Sacrament of Hollywood. In addition to these two parishes and schools, monies raised will also support California Jesuit Missions and their continued commitment to help the poor and to create “men and women for and with others” in the Jesuit tradition.
