Join us at our Donor Appreciation Mass and Breakfast!
For more than 20 years, the Adopt-a-Student Program has been making it possible for the children of Boyle Heights to attend a quality Jesuit Institution. It is because of the investment our donors make in our mission that we are able to share the following success:
- More than half of our students matriculate to Catholic High Schools; of those who attend Catholic High Schools, 98% continue on to college.
- We have 80 alumni who are currently attending LMU, USC, Santa Clara, Cal Poly Pomona, and UC Irvine – just to name a few.
- More than 85% of our students primarily speak Spanish at home and struggle with academic English vocabulary. Innovative use of technology, customized learning plans and the addition of a transitional kindergarten have led to students’ improvement
At least 75% of our families earn incomes below the U.S. poverty level. In spite of this challenge, our parents value education and the average family contributes about $800 annually to their child’s tuition.
